ISLAMABAD – A fire broke out on the Margalla Hills in Islamabad’s Bhara Kahu area, prompting an immediate response from firefighting teams and local residents. According to the district administration, firefighters reached the site soon after the blaze erupted on the hills. Rescue teams, along with people from nearby areas, started efforts to contain the fire and stop it from spreading further across the forest area.
Authorities said the operation was continuing at the affected site, while officials were monitoring the situation closely. The district administration stated that firefighting staff was working with available resources to bring the blaze under control as quickly as possible.
The administration also urged citizens to avoid visiting the affected area during the operation to help rescue teams perform their work without interruption.
