
LAHORE – Pakistan’s Nauman Khan, Ahmad Rayyan Khalil and Mahnoor Ali secured places in their respective finals at the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships 2026. In the boys’ U-15 category, Ahmad Rayyan Khalil produced a commanding display to defeat Malaysia’s Julius Tan Li Hao in straight games 11-5, 11-5, 11-5 in just 20 minutes. Nauman Khan also advanced to the final in the boys’ U-17 event after overcoming fellow Pakistani Muhammad Umair Arif 3-1 in a competitive semi-final. Nauman won the match 11-3, 11-13, 11-6, 11-7 in 54 minutes.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Sohail Adnan narrowly missed out on a place in the U-15 final after suffering a hard-fought 3-2 defeat against Malaysia’s Vidhurran Ruthiran. Sohail fought back strongly after losing the opening game but eventually went down 8-11, 11-5, 11-8, 8-11, 8-11. In the girls’ U-15 category, Mahnoor Ali secured her spot in the final with an impressive 3-1 victory over Hong Kong’s Tang Ching Sur. Mahnoor claimed the match 11-6, 11-9, 10-12, 11-4.
