PM Shehbaz Sharif to hold key meetings during China visit



Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled for a busy day in Hangzhou as he continues his visit to China.

During the visit, the prime minister will participate in the Pakistan-China Business-to-Business Investment Conference, which will focus on sectors including Information Technology, telecommunications, battery energy storage systems, and agriculture.

Several cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed and exchanged between Pakistani and Chinese companies during the conference. The prime minister will also address participants at the event.

Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to hold meetings with senior executives and heads of leading Chinese firms in Hangzhou to discuss investment opportunities and bilateral cooperation.

As part of his engagements, the prime minister will visit the headquarters of Alibaba. During the visit, agreements on cooperation between the company and the Government of Pakistan are expected to be signed, while the prime minister will also address a ceremony there.

After concluding his engagements in Hangzhou, the prime minister will leave for Beijing as part of his ongoing visit.
