In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Xiaomi has unveiled a range of new products, including the much-anticipated Redmi 13. The latest addition to the Redmi lineup starts at an attractive price of INR12,999 and will be available for purchase starting July 12 at noon.

The Redmi 13 is available in two variants. The base model, equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, is priced at INR12,999 (inclusive of Rs1,000 bank offer). The higher-end variant, featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, is priced at INR14,499 (also including the bank offer discount).
Display and design
The Redmi 13 5G boasts a 6.79-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for smooth visuals. It sports a centre punch-hole design and a distinctive crystal glass body, making it the first in its segment to offer dual-sided glass. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Performance
Under the hood, the Redmi 13 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) SoC. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM, an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD. The device runs on Android 14, layered with Xiaomi’s Hyper OS.
Camera
The standout feature of the Redmi 13 5G is its 108MP main camera, utilizing Samsung’s ISOCELL HM6 sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binning technology for enhanced clarity. Additionally, it includes a 2MP macro camera. The front houses a 13MP camera for selfies. A ring flash on the back provides improved lighting for photography.
Battery and charging
The Redmi 13 5G is equipped with a 5030mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. A charger is included in the box for convenience.
Additional features
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. The phone is dust and splash-resistant with an IP53 rating. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack and a bottom-firing loudspeaker. Connectivity options cover 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
