Talal Chaudhry inaugurates expanded Ataturk Avenue project in Islamabad

Talal Chaudhry on Monday inaugurated the expansion of Ataturk Avenue while representing Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Speaking at the ceremony in Islamabad, Talal Chaudhry said the Ministry of Interior was working to transform the capital into a modern, environmentally friendly, and secure city under the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

He stated that the avenue’s width had been increased from 24 feet to 52 feet, which would help ease traffic congestion and improve transportation flow in the area.

The minister said the project was completed in line with the federal government’s broader infrastructure development strategy while ensuring the protection of trees along the route.

He added that the upgraded avenue features improved lighting, drainage infrastructure, pedestrian walkways, and strengthened safety measures.

Talal Chaudhry also stressed that environmental conservation remained a key focus in all ongoing public development initiatives.
