Balochistan leaders condemn Quetta blast



Political leaders across Balochistan have strongly condemned the recent blast in Quetta and reaffirmed their resolve to stand united against terrorist elements, pledging decisive action against those responsible.

Political and government figures described the attack targeting unarmed civilians, including women and children, as an inhumane and cowardly act, calling it an assault on humanity and stressing the need for collective efforts to eliminate terrorism.

Member of the Balochistan Assembly Meena Majeed Baloch said the attack on passengers travelling home for Eid holidays was an attack on humanity, adding that the killing of innocent civilians had exposed the intentions of hostile elements and their proxy groups.

Member of the National Assembly Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani termed the attack on unarmed passengers an assault on humanity, Baloch traditions and national values, saying such elements deserved no leniency.

Dinesh Kumar said the people of Balochistan were standing like a strong wall against terrorism, adding that the entire nation remained united with the security forces in the fight against militancy.

Provincial Adviser for Women Development Dr Rubaba Khan Buledi condemned the attack and expressed sympathy with the families of the victims, while praying for the speedy recovery of those injured.

MNA Mian Khan Bugti also condemned the blast and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives.

Balochistan Minister for Planning and Development Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi said women and children were among those targeted in the attack and reiterated that the people of the province would continue standing shoulder to shoulder with security forces for peace, law and order, and national security.
