The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has announced the schedule for summer vacations in educational institutions across the province’s plains and upper cold regions.
According to an official notification issued by the department, summer vacations for primary schools in the plains areas will begin on June 1 and continue until August 31, 2026.
For middle, high and higher secondary schools in the same regions, holidays will be observed from June 15 to August 16, 2026.
The notification further stated that all educational institutions located in the province’s colder mountainous districts will remain closed from July 1 to July 31, 2026.
The department said the schedule had been issued to ensure uniform implementation of summer vacations in accordance with varying climatic conditions across the province.
