Massive show of support for KN Group in Shalimar Zone

LAHORE   –   The Khawaja Nadeem (KN) Group staged another powerful show of strength in Shalimar Zone ahead of the Lahore Region Cricket Association elections 2026, with representatives and presidents of 18 out of 29 active clubs expressing full confidence in the group’s leadership. During a well-attended gathering, the group formally announced its unanimous panel for the Shalimar Zone. M Arshad, president of Javed Memorial Club, was nominated for president, while Baba M Khurshid of Mughalpura Whites Club was named candidate for secretary. Asif Aziz, president of Paragon Club, was nominated for treasurer slot. The meeting was chaired by KN Group leader Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed, while Manager Cricket Operations Abid Hussain conducted the proceedings and welcomed club representatives and guests. Kh Nadeem congratulated the nominated candidates and stressed the importance of positive leadership and collective thinking for the improvement of club cricket in Lahore.

He assured club officials that promoting merit, transparency and equal respect for all stakeholders would remain the group’s top priorities.

The nominated candidates also pledged to work for the development of cricket, improve opportunities for young players and ensure transparent administration within the zone.
