
Mohsin Naqvi has conveyed Eidul Azha greetings to Muslims in Pakistan and across the world, highlighting the values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion associated with the religious occasion.
In his message, the interior minister said Eidul Azha reflects the unwavering faith and devotion shown by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS), adding that the festival teaches the importance of submitting personal desires and ego to the will of Allah Almighty.
Mohsin Naqvi also honoured the martyrs of Pakistan and their families, acknowledging their sacrifices for the country. He described those who sacrificed their lives for the homeland as national heroes whose services can never be fully repaid.
He further stated that security personnel continue to perform their duties away from their families during Eid to ensure the safety of the nation, demonstrating their dedication and commitment.
The interior minister prayed for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity for Pakistan and the broader Muslim world on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
